An Early Birthday Gift!

I got my new bonnet in the mail today! It is absolutely lovely, yellow plaid silk with gathered cream colored lace. I can't wait to use it over the summer!

Yes I am still alive!

It's been forever since I've had a chance to post. (Yay school!) However, I have started sewing again and it looks like I will have a completed dress within the next two weeks! Pictures will come when it's done! I am officially signed up to go to the 1861 Girl's School at the Athenaeum Rectory this July, so I have a ton of work to do- thankfully I have a full month and a half of summer break before leaving. I also have the amazing opportunity to work at Old Sturbridge Village this summer as an interpreter- more on that this summer!
